Oh, how the high and mighty have fallen. I settled into a nice groove with Screen Savers after all the reboots. I finally thought it was an OK waste of time. Now, Attack of the Show arrives.



Any doubt left this is nothing but another G4/gaming show are gone.

And Dark Deals? What is this? A way to get G4 some commissions?

Maybe it's just the first show. I don't know. I'll give it the week because I'm so attached to what this used to be and hate to give it up, but that was a steaming pile.

How's Sarah looking? She might be the best part of the show.

I still hold out hope that someone will come along and recreate The Screensavers, especially now that the name is no longer in use.

I can't believe they gave the same cast that ran the screensavers into the ground another crack on a different show. That first episode was horrible. Looking for a PSP at a liquor store, plant store and a pet store, was that suppose to make us laugh? I give it 3 weeks before a cancellation. G4 now has no show decicated to fixing computers. It's time to bring back Leo.

The SS is now totally lame but I have to admit, the 20 ft NES controller was pretty damn funny. "Attack of the Show" should just be Sarah in a halter top playing with the giant NES controller. Maybe not.

You guys think Sarah is that hot? Not really my type.

Sarah looks a lot better than she used to. She constantly wears revealing tops now as well.

What are Dark Deals? I watched a couple of minutes and gave up.

It used to be a segment on some good tech deals, like a hard drive for cheap if you enter a certain code. Last night it was nothing but "10% off at Jinx.com" or "$20 off a year" of this. All of them involved some "darkdeals" coupon code, making it sound like these websites would be paying G4 a commission to plug all that crap.

I just watched it. It wasn't so bad. You just have to tell yourself it's not the Screen Savers. The huge NES controller was cool and it was pretty funny watching those guys play it. The Star Wars Lego thing was good as well. Now I have to buy that game after seeing the game play from it. The FX guy from Spider Man was lame and boring as most guests like that are. (I don't really give a shit how the movie was made.) I'll watch it again. And Sarah was looking great as always.

If you didn't like the last incarnation of this show (from less than 2 weeks ago) then you won't like this one. It's the same people, the same show, the same content; just with a different name and graphics.

I for one liked it before and still like it now.. obviously it's an entirely different show than the original Screen Savers was so they were fine and right to change the name. I really like both Kevins and Sarah is alright except her head seems too big for her body. I hate Brendan Moran though. He seems like he's trying too hard or something.

It's a great show for what it is: a cable-only show on a channel dedicated to video games.

For Attack of the Show I thought it was pretty good, it def. had some funny moments. I had it on Tivo so I was able to fastforward the parts I did not like....like anything with that Brandan dude and then the Spider Man guy. I was laughing so hard when they were playing Mario Bros with the big controller.

Now if this was the Screensavers then I totally would of hated it. Because it was totally different then what it was with pat and leo. I will give this a couple of weeks to see what it is like....obviously watching on Tivo so I can easily fast forward.

the show is now unwatchable...today the inserted a webserver into a guys ass....how is that even funny?the sad thing is that they had tom green on today and he was the most mature person on the show. well another tivo season pass bites the dust.

Thumbs down it's really sad to what has become of the show that would teach you about tech. Now all we have is a show full of dumb skits and jokes. Leo and Patrick would shriek in terror at what has become of there baby.

I would disagree it's the same show, same content. The skits are more asinine, the focus is even more game-orientated, and they don't talk about computers much at all.

Anyone catch any news eps? Jesus it pains me to watch some of these segments. Brendon Marran must be one of the producer's nephews or something, cuz otherwise he'd definately be fired. all of his stupid "Independent __________ Festival" segments are pure crap. Kevin P is even more annoying than ever, although that "prom night all over again" line during the PSP segment was funny, ill admit. Rose just doesnt seem to care anymore, sincew everytime he does a tech skit he has to work alongside Kevin P (otherwise known as Mr. "I Gotta chime in Randomly Ever few Minutes"), which is too much of a chore for him it seems. only redeeming factor is Chris Gore....

That guy sucks. He should be an intern at an accounting office or something. Not TV.

I find this show more watchable than current episodes of SNL.....but wait a minute.....that's not saying much.

I watched it once right before it turned into "Attack of the Show". It was horrible, and I can only assume it's gotten worse. TechTV is gone.

seems theyre just calling themselves G4TV now. so no Tech should be found at all....bummer. TechTV shouldve stayed as far away as possible from G4. Now look at it. TechTv has officially been discarded (well, not the "TV" part...). Great job G4! Throw out OG ScreenSavers, Pulse and Unscrewed for Formula D, Drift Shift and "Pimp my Xbox ya dig?!". What a peice of crap channel.....only redeeming factors are some of AotS, X Play and Icons.

Other G4 Show news:

Adam Sessler is no longer hosting X-Play. He is getting his own late-night show on the network. Morgan will still be hosting X-Play, a co-host for her has not been picked yet.

Update: Well, I guess this was a joke; Adam seems to be staying on X-Play (yeah!). If it was an April Fool's Day joke, they sure tricked me, mostly because I saw this first broadcast on April 12th.

Damn, Adam Sessler on his own show. And I thought Martin Sargent was the worst idea for a host....Adam Sessler by himself will be so annoying. I cannot even stand X-Play because of him.

I tune in to Attack of the show long enough to see if they have anything interesting and to see what Sara Lane is wearing!!

Now I do watch cheat pretty regularly!! Kristin Holt gives me teh hot!!

I like Adam Sessler. I think he's pretty hilarious. I thought his whole TV show was an April Fools gag though. I don't know that was the last time I watched G4 so I'm probably wrong. That sucks he is leaving XPLAY. I was fun hearing him rag on RPG's.

at least a sessler show would be reminiscant of "unscrewed!".....and much, much better than some dumb ass car modding show
